Scrap Pillow

{Reduce, Reuse, Recycle}

If you’ve ever used Simplicity Pattern 9658 to make tote bags B and/or C (my signature tote patterns, btw), you know about the annoying square scraps you find everywhere after cutting out your fabric.  And instead of throwing these 3″ scraps away, I usually set them aside for a rainy day … and never use them.  Well today, I changed my ways and immediately pieced the scraps together into a tiny quilt for a little back pillow.  It turned out to be a pretty cozy little guy.

I embroidered the little “A” to spice up the scraps a bit.
Who says repurposing materials looks budget?
Thank you, Anne, for contracting me to create gifts that create fun scraps!
